Updates
Sorry there’s been a bit of a delay on updates!-I’ve not stopped!!! But here’s what I’ve been working on…
‘Dad’s 80th’ Hand-Painted Pint Glass and Glass Frame
Casino Inspired ’50th’ Hand-Painted Tumbler with personalisation
And here’s some Hand-Painted Glass Frames with ‘Happy Birthday’ to Nana and Granny and ‘Love from Poppy’, as well as characters and swirls (sorry the pictures aren’t great)
Exciting New Fonts
This evening I’ve been downloading and playing with some new fonts for a project at school. Here they are…And this is how you download them to use on your computer.
Visit http://www.dafont.com and click download.
Then open the ‘downloads’ folder in ‘my documents’.
From there click on your chosen font and click on ‘extract all files’.
You then need to choose the destination folder C:\WINDOWS\Fonts .
You should then be able to access the new font through any program. I use mine in Microsoft Word or Publisher.
Hope this comes in handy.

My biggest order yet :)
Hen Party!!!
So this weekend has been absolutely crazy, but it was amazing to catch up with all my beautiful uni girls and to meet lots of new people and make lots of new friends!
I can now finally reveal the wine glasses I made for the hens!!! Everyone adored them, and they’ve made a really special keepsake. Have a look…
I decided to paint the base and back of the glasses using the wedding theme colours (pink and green). I went with a Mendhi influenced design for the base being as it will be a wedding of two cultures. I then added ‘Hannah’s Hens, June ’13’ on the back using the same colours.
From here, each individual hen sent me a photograph of themselves (for hair purposes) and told me the outfit they would like to be wearing.
I was then able to create completely unique glasses with a resemblance to each person as well as the uniform design reminding them of the fabulous weekends events.
Everyone loved them! I hope you do too?

Finally…
Finally…
After another busy day I can finally post the photos of some of the projects I’ve been working on this week.
Here is the beautiful, Scottish tartan inspired wedding set. The glasses include a red, green and gold tartan base with the words ‘Bride’ & Groom’. They also have images representing the Bride and Groom with their newly married name and wedding date on the back of the glass.
I absolutely love them!!! Definitely one of my best and most exciting commissions so far!!

And some more…
Here are the two birthday glasses-
One was a simple commission for a birthday with image representing the birthday girl and her name. I then included some simple swirls on the base of the glass.
And the other was a commission for a 40th birthday for which I added a tri-colour swirl detail with Name and ’40’ in silver.
Let me know what you think!?

Computer 1, Jen 0 :(
I’ve spent the last hour trying to upload the photos of the Hand-Painted glasses-as promised in my previous post. I’m now officially giving up as I’m in desperate need of sleep.
Tomorrow’s a new day, and the photos WILL be uploaded!!!

Hand-painted glasses 🍷
🍷🍹🍸
Hand-painted glass orders seem to be going nuts at the moment. Tonight I’ve finished painting the huge hen party order, so they just need firing tomorrow. I’ve also completed two different birthday wine glasses and a pair of glasses for a wedding. I’ve started the order for the 80th birthday too. I’ll post photos of the glasses tomorrow when I’ve finished them all off!
🍷🍹🍸
Hope you’ve had an exciting and creative evening!?

Tools Down
I’ve finally finished for the evening. Tomorrow will be another busy day as I finish painting 13 wine glasses, begin another glass for a birthday as well as starting a pint glass and clear, glass frame set for an 80th birthday. I’ll be posting pictures tomorrow!
Don’t forget to check out the new pages for The Beespoke Gift Company, and I’ll be updating the Getting Wed section as soon as I get 5 minutes.
Night night all, sleep tight!
